At Mouth Waters we aim to provide a professional service whilst ensuring that all of our guests feel like family and friends entering our home.

Alex and Megan Waters, husband and wife team, draw from a combined 75 years’ experience in the Restaurant and Catering industry, and have been operating Mouth Waters for 19 years this year, 2025.  Alex is our Head Chef and Megan, is our Front of House/Events Manager and Barista. 

We have a love and a passion for food and a good time.

Alex shops daily, sourcing his produce himself to ensure freshness.  He also draws ideas from produce on hand at the time.  We support local farmers and businesses where we can, including de Lacey Coffee Roasters, Stoney Banks Orchard, SEED Social Enterprise, Rockhill Estate Potato Farm, Golden Free Range Egg Farm, The Hobart Milk Factory, Manna Bakehouse and Pigeon Whole Bakery.

Our Café offers a wide and varied Menu, with daily specials and all day breakfast.  All of our food from our Café is available for dine in or take away.  Our Café prices are very reasonable and will not break your budget.

Our Conference/Catering Menu is also very budget friendly, fresh, and tasty. We appreciate that food plays a very important role in a day of training.

All of our food is made in house by Alex and our team.

Dine inside or outside on our deck, overlooking Prince of Wales Bay.

We have ample free parking, including two disabled car parks directly outside our front door.

Disabled toilets and ease of access are also on offer.

We welcome large bookings in our Café, and regularly welcome large groups from Retirement Villages who enjoy a great day out.

A high chair is available for young children.
